Pachislo + capsule machine, missing reels and other components

My name is Micha and I run the Lucky Cat Museum in Cincinnati, Ohio. We currently have two pachislo machines in the collection, Daruma + Manekineko and Neko de Koban, both of which are very popular with guests. (We let them play for free with tokens.)
I recently acquired the top half of a Nekosuru capsule toy vending game. It is a fiberglass shell shaped like a Lucky Cat holding pachislo style controls: a joystick, two reel windows, LED play counter, and left and right buttons. The wiring for each is still in place, just no reels or money/vending mechanisms. It has two coin slots, one for 100 yen (single play) and 500 yen (six plays).
Does anyone have experience with machines like this or with building their own? I'd be happy just to have a functional slot game.
