Default Need some help with a project

So I picked up my first project machine today. It definitely needs work but for $20 why Not?

I could use some help identifying the machine, as well if someone with the same frame could send me a pic of the inside of the door to see how the glass is installed.

My translator app shows the ID tag (upper right corner of the cell) as being Super Pistol Daimyo GP. In looking through some data sites I found it to be F Pistol Daimyo GP from July 1997.

    Nice find for $20!

The plastic / glass panel is held in place with glue on both sides of the plastic cubes. (mine is plastic)

Is there supposed to be a large gap then between the frame and the plastic window then?

I pulled the window pane back a little in my first picture to show the glue but yes there is meant to be a gap. Perhaps it was a quick and cheap build idea at that time.

Ah, yeah super cheap. I may modify that.

One thought is that if you move the window out closer to the door frame by eliminating the mounting cubes, then the balls may bounce out past the nails when played.

Yep, but, i could double pane it, shorten the cubes and have plexi on both sides of them

Yes and that should cut down on some noise as well. Been a year or more since mine was running so I don't recall how loud the balls were.
