    Default Daiichi New Vanguard Question

I recently picked up four machines when I went to visit my daughter in Chicago. One of them was a Daiichi New Vanguard. This machine has the slanted front window. I'd never seen one of these before and was wondering if they are "special" because of the way the front is. Or are they just as common as others are?

Thanks for any input you can provide

    Dan

Somewhat common vintage, usually have better playfields (less water damage).

Not as easy as others to take apart.

Here are some I've worked on...

    Carl,
Thanks for the info. They are a bit harder to work on as I recently found out!
    I'll post some pics tomorrow.

Thank you! I'm retired and I love to restore Pachinkos. I'm pretty anal about it as I completely strip every part off the machine. All the wood gets sanded and coated with polyurethane . I clean all the plastic parts and wax them to keep them clean. All the metal gets cleaned and polished. Nails get tumbled to clean them. Then I put it all back together!
Keeps me out of the bars!
