    Default Greetings From Asbury Park

Hello Everybody....I just recently purchased this Skill Stop Machine from a Yard Sale, I had tested it before I made the decision to purchase it and it worked absolutely fine. After taking it home and plugging it in to use it however, The panel lights up but when I insert a token, the token just spits out onto the coin tray and doesn't except it as a credit

I have attempted to reset it through the PSU, but to no avail. Here are some pictures of the internal components of the machine for troubleshooting, I've yet to see this specific machine ANYWHERE on the internet, I also took a picture of the slot machine in hopes that someone can actually identify the machine. A google search and even reverse image searching turned up nothing. Hoping I can have some luck on this forum, and Hopefully I can get someone to help me through in getting this to actually work as intended.

    Hello and Welcome to PachiTalk!

Looks like your machine is called D-Zone (Dangerous Zone) and I believe it was manufactured around 1999 by a company called E.M.A.

as it's an early one it could be a 1,2,3 bet machine or a Max bet (3 tokens per spin) machine?

Have you tried the 'Hard Reset' (full reset that includes changing the odds) as this can cure most issues.

Also, if you're new to pachislos then you may find our PDF guide helpful: pachitalk/Manuals/Pachislots_Operation_Manual.pdf

Hello Coppola0218 and welcome to the group

The reels look like they could have been at a free spin on the last play. Not positive on that with the picture angle. If so then the tokens would be rejected until you moved past that point. The insert medal light will come on or flash when you are able to have tokens accepted. With the power off turn the key in the power box to the left, then power on and try the spin knob.

Thanks everybody for all of the great advice and help. I managed to figure it out using the PDF Manual and translating the text on the machine with Google Mobile Translate. Now it works fully functional.

I have one question however....How did you manage to find out what the machine actually was? I combed the internet for days and came up with nothing with regards to what it was.

glad to hear you got it working

as for searching, it was simply typing 'D Zone Pachislo' into google

I usually check our records here first and then if I can't locate it, I use google

Welcome to Pachitalk! Of course this is the best place to be...here is a good ste for information on pachislos: https://www.pachislodb.com/db-D-ZONE.html Not quite as fun as Pachitalk...but a good source of information! Seems to be a number of our members there too.
