I thought the owner said it plays fine. Juat the ball counter on the front has reached its max.

To be honest. I have never seen a modern machine with a ball counter on the front (or anywhere)

In the first post he said that but also that it beeps (due to the error code and/or the "FFFF" counter code) described in post #16???

That was my Japanese translation for the LED #2 error code.

Besides this annoying beep (which I think is some type of error that I have not figured out)..The display on the front is must mean it has reached it's max....Other than that the game plays fantastic...

I put some balls in that back hopper but maybe not enough...That balls just seem to sit there...How can I make the balls move from the back hopper...I have just been using balls from the front and refilling them...Am I doing something wrong??? Thank you also...

So does it pay out..Has it ever payed out?? You should be getting a few balls every time you get a ball in the start pocket that activates the screen..

Have you filled the rear hopper, and are balls making it all the way unobstructed to the payout motor??

I can't recall that I ever saw the machine pay out...I was just fascinated by the getting balls in the opening to make the screen activate...I have always put balls in the front and never in the back of the machine...A few days ago I had opened the playing field glass and put balls directly into the opening that activates the screen...The number counter on the front was displaying 904 at this time...I figured I would keep putting balls in until it reaches 1000 in hopes that it would reset itself and maybe that would stop the beeping sound...Well the counter read "FFFF" and the beeping sound continues....I posted a video link in an earlier post for you to see..

Sorry it seems you are new to Pachinko? I think we all misunderstood and presumed it was working fine and playing correctly and that you just needed a reset?

If however you haven't been filling the back rear tray with balls then the machine will error out as it won't have any balls to payout. You put balls in the front tray to shoot with, and balls in the back for the machine to pay out.

Here is a couple of links that help explain modern pachinko set up and playing etc:

I would start by filling the top back tray first, then check the payouts to make sure the balls are making their way down.

Also I should add that if you have been playing without any payouts, then you may have to keep refilling the rear tray until it catches up on all the payouts it's missed.

I have figured out the problem and now my machine works 100%...I didn't allow the hopper to go through it's cycle of paying out...I had to keep filling the top hopper in the back of the machine to do that...Then I had to turn on machine and hold the reset switch for a few seconds to reset the machine....Well I'm Moonwalking Now"...Hahahahahaha..I want to thank everyone on this thread for helping me out..."You guys are the best". Thank you Pachitalk this is such a great forum...I truly appreciate you guys...Thank you again..

Perhaps that display is the number of payouts it has stacked up?

Glad to hear that you got it sorted out!

So many of us are curious about the counter on the front. Like compirate mentioned, does it display what is to be paid out? Example being that if your rear hopper were allowed to run dry again, would the pending winning balls be totaled on the display? Curious minds need to know
