    Smile GM-X Maruto Vintage

    Enjoyed this vintage clean up.

The back mechanism is hinged and easy to clean. All the parts are intact. No water damage.

Drilled out the birdy's eye and stuck a green jackpot LED there...

I hope someone can help, I have a Maruto (probably early 70's). The ball feed mechanism for the launcher keeps jamming. It looks like just a poor design maybe? I would appreciate any Ideas or suggestions. Will send pics when I can get them to upload.

Rick, have you given it a real good cleaning, and made sure there was no lube in the mechanism? All of the parts need to move super freely.

There are a few axles that need to be operating smoothly, sometimes requiring polish.

The entire mechanism can be adjusted slightly up and down via the mounting screws, sometimes that is required.

Thanks, this mechanism is different it slides in place over 2 posts without any screws. I wish I could load the pics, because after working on 30+ machines, this is not like any of them, it's driving me nuts. It's all plastic except for a piece that pivots down and lets the balls into the shooting lane, that is made of metal. When a ball is launched itpushes the metal piece over to let the next ball in to be shot, but after a few balls it starts letting more than one at a time in. Once there is more than one in the shooting lane, they won't fire.
