the other one (US.A.) i have been keeping a eye on the bidding,,,,one or two but thats it. i was going to throw a bid on it just to make sure everything works, but i havent yet, i hate bidding against myself...i never do that live or on the web...never did understand people doing that ...but on the other hand i hate to find out in the last minutes that for some unknown reason it doesnt work lol....stay tuned

    Update
I put a bid on the one in the U.S.A. just to make sure everything is working.
So im the winning bidder at $300.00 but not for long...lol
So it cost me 25 bucks and the crazie 27 percent buyers premium which is around $81.00...
They figure it will sell between $1,000.00 to $2,000.00........we will see

I think it will jump a bit in price being that the live auction doesn't start until noon on Saturday. That extra 27% has to sting a bit on top of shipping charges.

I wish you the best on a successful winning bid!

hi Gmwd yes they are nice looking,i really like the German machine (clown catcher)...

hi pete...yes your 100 percent right. on saturday it will go from 300 bucks to ???? in no time ......i was wondering....i have bid on ebay for years and know all that ,i have also been to live auctions many times and
we have all seen the high end auction houses plus the high end car auctions there all live, but they have people on the phone (at that time ) calling in bids...
so my question is HOW DOES THIS WORK ??? do they just take what ever the hightest bid is (on the web site ) and start the bidding in the auction house at that ????. has any one here done this before?,,,if i was there saturday and i didnt see any hands go up i would be wondering where the bidding was comeing from LOL

Good questions Scottie, I wish I knew the answers to share but I am clueless about the auction house ways. My participating in live auctions was but a few times in the 80's at best

Hi, Scotty. I have never used either of these auction services. I did buy a pachinko via online auction once a few years ago. They had live bidders onsite and took bids over the internet. I had to wait for my item to come up and then continue to raise my bid until no other in person or online buyer placed a higher bid. I won and then the auction invoices me and shipped the item.

    Hi spyder138 and pete

One day,two hours and 30 minutes to go lol
The 24 win allwin still doesnt have any on line bids...
Even the purple allwin doesnt have any bids
Yes pete your right the 27 percent is a real killer....
The auction house says the clown catcher is worth between 1000 to 2000 dollars,
Im guessing it will go around 1,200 dollars...but you never know...

I've signed up to watch this and a few other items that I would be interested in having. Scottie, are you up and watching? Still bidding on this one?

It's coming up in an hour or two with a couple hundred items ahead of it in the live auction.

    Good morning Pete
No, that wasnt me,i got out bid and it went highter than what i wanted to pay...
If i had of got the clown catcher for $1,000.00 as you know i would have had to pay 270 dollars for the buyers cost, shipping should have been just over 100 dollars, but im sure they would have charged for packing it up etc so i was guessing 200 dollars...so i would have been at $1470.00...not counting the trip down to pick it up in new york state, bridge cost,u.p.s charge etc.......at the boarder crossing they convert the money from U.S. to Canadian...which is around 25 percent $1,857.00..then i would have to pay another 13 percent on top of that..$241.00 for a grand total of $2098.44....for a machine i payed $1,000.00 for.........pass ...lol
I wasnt on line at the time the other one went up,i did have a bid on that one too,but i figured it would go too high...i was wrong...... that one i wasnt really too disapointed that i didnt get...i do have one like it and in nicer orginally condition......
Oh well i really did like that clown catcher
Once again thank you for all your leads
