Since pachislomarket is in Japan the shipping is $66, making theirs $264...but you get an extra lift tube and spring! Plus wait a month for shipping.
The new listing is in Mt Shasta California. Only $35 shipping, making it $220...and quicker delivery!\
I messaged them about the tube only...would have cost $60 after shipping. I understand shipping...but I don't want to spend $60 for a tube.

I purchased a lifter from Pachislomarket with the 66 shipping a couple of weeks ago, and it came in less than a week. Well packaged. Very happy with the service.

I wasn't sure about the ship time. That is probably why the shipping is $66. I'm still thinking about the tube and spring only...the shipping for that was about $30. So it would probably come quickly too.

You are probably right! As far as I know, these are obsolete devices and are not being made anymore. I doubt they are still in use much. I have never seen them cheap. That being said...I never looked into them before 2010. Mine was $125, it was from Florida, and literally looked like it had been stored underwater...and has no lift tube. I've typically seen them for $500, in the last year, trending at $420. the prices above are the lowest I have seen.

Couldn't agree more! I got one of those as well. Figured it would take quite a while to get here, but had mine in a week as well! Very happy!

So these are obsolete now? What has replaced them?

Not certain on the "nuts & bolts" of the replacement lifter system. Seems that these ("Silver" brand, orange in color) lifters...or any similar competing brands, were used one per machine. If not mistaken, the ball lifter systems of today are more centralized...whole house systems. A video (black & white) that looked old, showed a system where all lost balls went to an area that were lifted to an area above machines to be distributed to all machines needed. In short, a massive system to handle all the machines, as opposed to individual lifters for each machine.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hZ0psgHs2B8 I think this is the one. Pretty old, so I can only imagine what is in place today! In the 3:30 area, you can see why so many of your beloved vintage machines have water stains on the cell! I really wish there was a translation to what was spoken.
OSHA would have a FIT over the 6:30 part!

Aaaahh, I bet they've something similar now to a combination of the pipe runs and what I built with simple solenoid control of which pipe is feed, with automatic lifts and drop control based on what machine needs more balls.

My setup is nothing special. Just a conveyor lift to a run above the machines, that has solenoid operated doors. The switches in single machine setups (plate switch?) Triggers the gearmotor for the lift as well as opens a door on the side of the run so balls can dump into a chute for each machine. Works well enough, but that conveyor build is not fun and requires some special fasteners for the lift shelves.

I've since made a different setup blueprint that allows even faster filling, however. This style will have an extra plate switch on the upper ramp, allowing it to be filled and supper a massive number of spheres. A sweetheart dump door allows them to fall to a lower run, with a gate selector and individual pipe runs to machines from there, instead of individual doors of a common run. This will allow the slower conveyor lift to keep the top full, and spheres to fall for filling machines at a much faster rate.

I'm still working on build videos for my first setup, but at some point in the future, you'll be able to see it all.
