Hoard? Or Re-up? How do you evolve your collection?

I just sold a few machines at a yard sale last week.. which surprised me to be honest since nothing has moved in awhile.
I have stopped actively purchasing newer machines because the hobby is just too expensive. I keep my eyes open for the 1 or 2 machines I have an interest in but @ $500+ for a new machine I can purchase old arcade machines for my game room at better prices.
