Cranky Condor ('96) stop board help
Hello all.
i just purchased a '96 Crank Condor from Craigslist. This is my first slot machine purchase. After dealing with a few loose IDE(?) cables, I got it up and running with the exception of the skill stop buttons. Reading through the forum, I'd like to thank those of you that helped me make sense of the inner working of the machine.
I realized that the 1amp fuse on the stop board was blown. I had a couple of fuses laying around, and unfortunately 5amp fuses. I tried them, and they blew out immediately.
Seeing as how there is no such thing as an electronics store in my state (RI) anymore, I tried a couple of car parts stores with no luck.
I ordered the proper fuses online and expect them on tomorrow.
But here is my concern, your thoughts and advice are appreciated;
I'm concerned that a 1A fuse will just blow out immediately if a 5A did.
Does anyone have experience with this? If it does blow out, what do you suppose is causing it to blow out?
All caps on the stop board seem to be in good condition.
The reels will stop once they time out. But waiting one minute every spin proves to be not fun at all! Lol.
