What kind of paint?

I am getting some raw machines to refurb and want to know what kind of paint to get for the cabinets.

Should I get flat or semi? Is there a particular brand people prefer (or simply works better).

You could always do something different like paint the cabinets in colors to match each game. Or maybe that textured stone-looking paint. Then you could advertize them on Ebay as "RARE", "LIMITED EDITION" or "ONE-OF-A-KIND" and really make some big bucks!

My idea is to sell them locally as I would never be able to compete with the big sellers on ebay. I think I like the flat look, but the semi will hold up better.

Get Harley wall paper and coat the outsides. This will quadruple what someone will pay.

In my opinion, flat shows way too much dirt. You touch it with anything but freshly washed hands and it's going to leave some sort of mark. Go with at least a semi. Shiny is good

ValSpar, American Tradition is a very good, durable paint to use. I use it on carnival games we build, and it works great. I'd give that a shot. Many colors and finishes to choose from. Most Lowes carries it. I plan to recoat my machines shortly.
