The clear plastic part on the left side of the coin mech looks to be partly out of place. This serves as a guide to route the tokens thru the mechanism. There are two flexible tabs towards the top that should fit under the two corresponding screws. Grasp the clip at the bottom edge and you can pull down and lift out at the same time to remove it slowly. Try cleaning things up with a little rubbing alcohol on Q-tips and reassemble.

Oh boy ! My nemesis, come to haunt someone else ... Just take that whole piece out and clean it up and put it back... if they are getting stuck the it could be because the top of that piece is too far up, or damaged as it goes all the way up inside the metal apart where you put the tokens in..I think pete meant it was out of place and leaning right a little bit.

No sorry, I have a pulsar machine but the coin mechs in Yamasas are apparently the same across the board, besides a few minor differences.. They all pretty much operate the same way and are exchangeable to a certain extent.

I'm not sure what you mean by adjust, but i was told by a dealer on ebay if you try to make these particular mech take quarters (which i have no idea how to do) you will never get it back to tokens again and have to replace the whole thing, that is if you dont destroy it trying. And they are not easy to find and expensive if you do. They are not like those other coin mechs that are plastic with metal pieces.

I just noticed when i looked closer at your pic there seems to be some kind of curved strip contoured to the coin path behind the removable plastic piece that i'm not familiar with, Could be just my eyes playing tricks on me, but i've seen 3 or four different coin mech pictures from various machines of the same brand and never saw that before.

No problem, However i'm still interested in that curved piece if in fact that's what it is and i'm not just seeing things..looks like a modification.

I circled what i could see of it it may go further or as i've been saying it could be an optical illusion because of the angel and the lighting.

Ok no problem, I thought it might be an illusion.. if you wanted to take another pic when you take that piece off great. if not no problem, just trying to make sure you get the most accurate info..Mine was missing that plastic guide piece entirely, and Gmwd was nice enough to model and 3d print me one from scratch using his, but noticed if it was placed to far up it would make tokens get stuck completely at insertion.
