Default Help identifying bulb please. Bellco Super Bingo

Hello and thanks for any help you can offer. I am looking to replace bulbs in a pachislo machine I own. It is a 2002 (I think) Bellco Super Bingo machine.
Many of these reel bulbs are out (probably 12 total)
What bulb is this and is it readily available?

Thanks for whatever help can be offered!

They’re commonly called bayonet style bulbs. You should be able to easily obtain them through an auto parts store since they’re commonly used for dashboard illumination.

I believe they would be wedge style and not bayonet. I would check the voltage on the machine as you will quickly burn out a 12 Volt on a 24 Volt machine.

Tink is right; wedge style. If your machine is 24V, tell them it’s for a truck using a 24V system. If they don’t have 24V bulbs in that style, you should be able to find them on ebay, or otherwise online. An alternative to 24V bulbs is to add resistors, and use 12V bulbs.

The replacement bulb you need is known as a #400 wedge bulb.

I've gotten some in the past from 1000 BULBS
What if...the HOKEY POKEY, is what it's all about?

Sadly...after receiving these bulbs in the mail, they are incorrect. They are more than double the size of the bulb I am looking for.

Have you tried matching one up at a local auto parts store? I know my NAPA has access to a ridiculous amount of parts, but this one is also a main distribution warehouse.

I just looked at a dash illumination bulb I have, and placed it next to a quarter for comparison. It is definitely bigger than the bulbs you are looking for. What is the measurement of the base flat, or bulb diameter? If it is 3/16” (which is about what it appears to be in the picture), the bulb(s) you are looking for are T1-1/2. The fractional designation of the bulb indicates how many 1/8” are in the diameter, hence 1-1/2 x 1/8”=3/16”.

I have tried a local place (not Napa) and the guy had no idea what it was. I figured it would be a better bet looking online somewhere, but so far you folks are the only ones kind enough to help. Here's another image I took with the 400 bulb next to the one I'm looking for.

I’m still thinking your bulb is a T1-1/2. You need to measure to verify. I don’t think you’ll find it at an auto parts store. I’m attaching a link to Eiko with what I believe you need. I don’t know what kind of voltage is feeding the lights on your machine. If you have a meter, give it a test. That will determine the exact bulb you’re looking for. Keep in mind that you’re better off with a bulb that’s rated at a higher voltage than what’s being delivered rather than something rated at a lower voltage if you can’t find one with the exact voltage. Something that’s rated marginally lower would work, but if for example, you put a 5V bulb, and feed it 10V, it won’t last very long.

You can find T1-1/2 bulbs on eBay. Just checked.
