Default All the good ones are in California

With about 26 machines, I think I have enough...but I still look! Saw this one on eBay, but local pickup in California.www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-1960s-Kyogoku-Pachinko-Machine-/322528182682?hash=item4b182d819a:g:IE8AAOSwSypY~o5d Can't figure out how to post pics with my tablet, but will try with another device later. I was especially intrigued by the jackpot mechanism. It has a pair of sprockets to funnel the balls out the bottom.
I don't especially like a $100 pricetag...especially when you have to consider shipping costs...but the unusual design makes me want to consider making him an offer...if any members were local to him and were willing to pick it up and ship it...and didn't want it for themselves!

s-l400.jpg s-l400 (1).jpg More pics in the listing, but front and back are the most important. I just love the unusual mechanics. Even if they are not as reliable as the model B Nishijin...the fact that they are uncommon makes me want them...even if I don't have any more space!

This one has been showing up in my craigslist feed for a while. The seller didn't get any interest there so they have lowered the price and listed on eBay. Fresno is actually quite a drive from me or I'd offer to pick up for you and ship, but I think it's a couple hours each way. The sprocket payout is quite unusual. I don't think I have ever seen one before.

I have only seen (pics of) one. http://www.pachitalk.com/forums/vint...o-machine.html Clearly this one is different...but reminds me of "the one that got away". The mechanics, in general, are different...but uses the sprocket JP also. 1950's Union Single Ball 023.jpg
"A couple hours each way" is a problem. Coupled with the fact that he wanted more on Craigslist, and is settling for $100, means he likely wouldn't come down on "best offer" to justify the additional cost of driving, packing materials, shipping costs, and time...which sounds costly.
I don't underestimate the inconvience of a couple hours each way. I lost the driveshaft for my 1970 Camaro during one of the moves I have made. I found one for a reasonable price...a couple hours each way, away. I simply have not made the trip for it, because it takes a big chunk out of your day, and even with a fuel efficient car, cost of gas coupled with the time...makes the driveshaft not that great of a bargain! Doesen't change that I need it, and will eventually make the drive...probably on a rainy day, so I don't waste a sunny day.

I know of a really good pizza place in Fresno. Can't recall the name but I know it was right off the freeway near the costco.

    100 machines and counting...
