New Pulsar Pachislo coin chute issue.

Well im working on getting this machine running properly A (bargain buy project) and finally got the reel stop buttons working after cleaning them 800 times or so...Now my next issue the coin chute isn't working properly, they either fall of the chute line or they jam up, etc...I was curious if anyone could tell me if it's missing a part?

You are missing the, clip on, plastic piece that keeps the tokens from falling off/out of the track.

Thanks Wayne-0oo, but i can't tell what's going on from that angle can i get another pic from afar so i can have an idea of what i'm looking at?

Looks like you are missing a plastic part that acts as a guide from where tokens enter the machine down into the coin mechanism. The spot that looks like a token or something is missing looks like just a worn spot in the metal. Here are some pictures from my machine.

1st Pic of mech with guide located in yellow box.
2nd pic a bit closer with boards removed above.
3rd pic same as 2nd with points where the guide snaps into place.
4th pic is the missing guide. The red arrows are of clips that rest alongside two upper screws in the upper yellow boxes in pics 3 & 5. The bottom snaps into place at the bottom metal frame in the lower yellow box in pics 3 & 5.
5th pic is from your machine showing where the plastic guide would snap into place.

Without the guide in place and running tokens thru, only about half of mine flowed past the mech before the rest jammed up on several attempts. I don't have anything extra for parts here nor a 3D printer to try and make one. Perhaps you can take something like a milk jug using a flat portion to mock up a part? If so then the top edge is a little out of site up towards the coin in point on the outside of the door.

Thanks very much PeteyBob, it does look like that is the issue, but i can tell mines obviously a different older design...Should i take some more pics at various angles?

I think yours is the same as mine and Wayne-Ooo's as far as the mechanism goes. If you look at my 2nd and 5th pictures comparing mine to yours they are about the same. My machine has an extra black video frame above the mech with extra wire sets is all as an additional aspect to the different machine model.

The guide goes between these two screws (not under them, the screws stay as they are) and runs above and below that point.

Thanks, I gotcha, I'm just curious since the coin reader is different on bottom (seems wider) if it's the same plastic cover design

I think that is was just a style change between models. The missing part location looks the same to me. Perhaps if Wayne-Ooo has both an ElVision and Non ElVision model then maybe he could check to see if that plastic part is the same between models. I'd bet a that it is the same

You might want to post a "wanted to buy" ad in the members trading area for the part or a parts machine. Also keep an eye out for the usual trading areas like Cragslist, etc. I looked around my area with no success nor from my looking auctions in Japan last night.

Another option is if someone could replicate it. I did a basic read on some shops around me but nobody lists any prices. Sounds like it isn't as easy to just scan and print. There is some CAD or other technical work involved and billed out hourly plus the final product cost. So there in lies the question of how much is one willing to pay in money sooner or in time waiting for a result later? You're welcome to send me a PM if you would like for me to explore the 3D print option with my part.
