Default Error Msg anyone pls an idea how to fix

    Hi

this was a christmas gift to my brother but since the moved he has following error message:

sorry fot bad quality but anyone an idea what the issue is? I first thought it's asking for the reset button on the back, but this will not stop the warning message. Maybe the reset button is broken.

    Thanks for any hints.

Does he see any error codes on a small LED display like 1-7? A '-' would mean no errors. Depending on the model there could be a secondary/memory reset button like on my Ultraman Taro by KYORAKU.

Yes, several times. Next thing we're going to check for any loose connectors.

With the power off hold the reset button in and power up. Release the button after about ten seconds. What machine is it? I'm getting curious now.

Is the machine playable but just not paying out winning balls? Do balls stay in the rear hopper? I wonder if the system is trying to catch up on previous won balls and the reset isn't effective for some reason. This would be the case if the rear hopper empties out to the front tray every time it is filled and the power is on. If so then refilling the hopper until balls stop paying out to the front should resolve the error code #1. This could take some time in shuffling balls at 200-300 at a time.

Another item other than a blockage in the ball paths is that the ball stop gate is down. This looks like a bent fork with multiple prongs that can be flipped downward into the ball tracks to stop the balls from moving. This is usually a short distance downstream of the rear ball hopper. If these don't seem to be a fix to the problem then perhaps post some good pictures of the rear for all to look over.
