Default How do you get the thunder V2 top glass light to turn on.

I have a Macy model thunder V2 machine. On the top it says something like Insumma Rush. The bulb does work as I was able to unplug it from that unit and plug it into another socket. However while playing the Light never comes on. Is there a certain mode that the light will trigger itself. Even on the 777 it does not light up.

You may need a fluorescent light control board as they can go bad. One would think that it can be tested somehow?

Is the light you are refering to like the blue/white lit panel surrounded by the top red lights in this link?

Yes it is the top glass next to the left and right red lights. It does work because the plug that controls that light and board is the same one for the sound but just in different locations. If I unplug the top light and plug it into the sound connector it works. So I'm wondering if I need to hit a special jackpot in order for that to light up.

I would think it'd be on all the time to draw attention in a parlor. If your answer doesn't come up here then perhaps ask the fellow in the video I linked. He works on pachislo machines and sells them and parts as well.

I just found a video maybe it is normal. Check out the link below. Watch until you get to about the 25 second mark as the guy pans up on the Thunder V II machine.
