    Default Help identify a machine?

One day at work while cleaning, we found this particular machine in the basement. We've tried to look up an translate the text on the face of the machine but we've gotten nowhere. Decided to give it a shot and see if anybody here would know anything about it. Thanks!

Wow. If it fully works. Alot of people would be jealous.
Can't help with the name but we do have a few here with arrangeball knowledge. Maybe a mod can move this thread to that section.

What ever you do. Don't plug anything in till you have checked the voltages

Hey thanks! We're newbies to the whole scene, so we weren't sure what board this machine falls under. The plug to the machine is missing, that's the main reason we decided to seek help.

Very cool... inside pics are a must.

I have been working on a very similar machine, would be most appreciated if you could post the inner pics. Looking for a specific part to get mine working correctly. There are a few of us here that would love to get that machine.

Welcome to Pachitalk. As others have said you've discovered a very cool arrangeball machine. They are certainly less common than your standard pachinko machine. The external view of yours looks to be in very good shape. Hopefully the interior components are also in good shape, as replacement parts can be difficult to locate. Did you find the pachinko balls and the tokens that the machine operates on? I am sure you will have a great time playing the machine. I really enjoy the arrangeball machines in my collection. If you find that you don't enjoy playing it, I am sure you would have no problem selling to one of our Pachitalk members or on eBay. Best of luck with your amazing find.

I tried posting these pictures earlier but I guess it didn't go through? We did find the balls inside, about 11, the face of the machine looks like there should be maybe 15? There's also no tokens inside either.

Wow! Very clean both inside and out. There is a well written description of arrangeball/challangeball machines in the arrangeball forum. It will help you with many of your questions. The tokens seem rarer than the machines...but the modern US gold dollars and Susan B Anthony dollars seem to work just fine in most machines.
16 balls seems like the correct number as most of these machines use a 4X4 light up grid to track score and thus payout. More balls could be used to increase the odds...but what gambling house is likely to do that. Ordinarily on the usual 4X4 grid, you would try to light up 4 vertical for 1 token, 4 horizontal for 2 tokens, or the 4 center ones for 3 tokens. Yours is layed out differently and I'm not sore how the scoring works. Take a pic of the scorecard on front so we can see.
It is so clean that I would be surprised if it did not work...but I'm not gonna be the one to tell you to plug it in. They were made to run on 100 volts AC, but work just fine on 120 volts AC.
    Amazing find...thanks for sharing!

Looks like 2,4,6 is a goal, as well as 11,13, and 15 as well. 8 and 9 are goals as well...but dont know the values. My guess would be 2,4,6 for 1 token...11,13,15 for 2 tokens, maybe 8 and 9 added to either of those for 3 tokens. The tulips on the front usually correspond to one of the numbers, often the preimum ones, likely 8 and 9. Even though the scorecard (instructions) are written in Japanese, it is usually easy to determine how to score fron looking at it.

Thx for the extra pics, missing the transformer, but looks complete otherwise.

I can help you out with the needed power requirements if your gonna fix it up.

Can't quite tell from the pics, but is there any markings on the transistors on the little side circuit board?

All of the transistors are blank except for one that's faded that looks like it reads 33 3K over 29 and a upside down T? Thanks again!

Hello rmharris and welcome to the group!

Nice find and so clean! I don't have any arrangeball machines but they are intriguing to me. Go ahead and get it working, you will enjoy it and pass it onto the kids someday.

Thanks for sharing this with us. I also love the Pokemon pictures and caption. Just a few cards and duct tape! Kids, what will they become
