They had a lot of smartball machines and a wall of arrangeball machines. Most of the arrangeballs had seen better days. The family running the place was really nice and the woman kept giving me free balls. She was impressed that I was actually trying to use finesse on my shots rather than just random firing. Maybe a little less finesse and more random firing would have taken care of the need for free balls. If you are in Tokyo and have time to swing into Asakusa I would recommend a visit. They have very limited hours so check before you go.

I see at least 4 Taiyos in there which are the ones with the tan plastics. I can make out two machine models for sure, a Satomi San Diego and Space Wars which I happen to own examples of and I imported them both. Couple of my favorite machines.

I don't see one with a placard. I really like the one with the big fish ( swordfish? ) Ah, who am I kidding, I like them all.

There were a few different manufacturers. When I have a chance to sit at the computer I will take a look through my other photos to see if I have a few more showing some of the other machines better.

that's a link to a bunch more arrangeballs from a parlor and i got those pics 6 years ago from Compirate's album. i wonder if it's the same place although it does have slightly different interior.
those placards are frequently missing or the wrong ones.
interestingly out of all of those models of machines, i've only seen a couple here in the u.s. who knows why but those are all the later and/or last model from those manufacturers as far as i can tell and maybe pachinkos were no longer being imported here by that time.

It looks like a lot of the arrangeballs are out of service.
Over the hills and threw the woods, pachi hunting we go.
