    Default Anyone lnow where i can find a newgin manual from 90s

    Looking to do some mods and actually attempt to hook a counter to an older unit.

    This is for an older circa 90s i think newgin shinobi

    I see these as the only output boards but i think these are frame outputs

    I hooked up an oscope to 1 common and 3 and it seems to pulse 6 volts on and off even when idle. Other pins i dont seem to get any reading. If i scope my other machines i can clearly see a pulse from 0 to 11.6 v and its a nice square wave. About 1 to 2 sec on length. Im looking to see if i have any other options. This unit did have something hooked up to 1 and 3. There was wire caps with cut wires. Not sure what would pulse 6 v every fes seconds. I do not know the frame model. Any input or ideas would be awesome. Or if anyone knew where to get a manual.

    I am attaching the scope pics this makes no sense why its constantly pulsing this is why I am looking for a manual

    Time = 2.12 ms between each pulse 12.6 v p to p

    When I drop a ball in start it increases a to 13 v p to p but this makes no sense

    Did you get this done? I have a Spark Man that I would love to hook a BC up to.

    Its the coloured prongs. But might be voltage output rather then a switch.

    I actually did. I scoped all of the outputs it took a long time to do because I needed to jackpot to get the signal captured on each pair of pins. My hand still hurts from holding the shooter. Lol I was begging people to come over to play.but those jerks just wanted to play the star wars 3d and marvel vs capcom.

    I had to make another custom voltage to contact converter with double the resistance to drop the 24 v it output to the computer system into a on /off contact. hey a signal is a signal.

    It works great. I even found that all the blue surface mount leds were burned out so I replaced all of them then fully figured out how to program my counters to do what I wanted them to do.

    Drunkenclams video of his Min 21 counters all linked up inspired me to figure it out.
