Default All Models, All Vendors -- Overflow bucket?

Just wanted to ask everyone as I am new. When I get a machine there is a hopper with it, but there seems to be a place for a overflow hopper and I never get it. Is this normal or is the vendor cheating me out of it?

I believe there are a few reasons for this:
    1) if there is a transformer installed, that is where it goes.
    2) there are only a handfull of people who put enough tokens into a machine to even overflow the hopper.
    3) most buckets have the bottoms cut out.

This is my personal opinion, or of the voices in my head, and are not meant to reflect the opinion of this board.

if you do have a bucket in there and lock your key in the machine you can't reach in the bottom to open the machine.

One reason I was asking is because when I got the King Pulsar in I found out that tokens were falling out the overflow at about 900 tokens and I like to have a little more than that so I don't have to open the door so much. Also my Neo PlanetT holds a lot more tokens before hitting the overflow!

some of milt's machines have black duct tape on the overflow side of the hopper to prevent tnis.

Most of the machines that I have that came with overflow bins had the bottoms of the bins cut out. I just put in a piece of cardboard, slightly oversized so it's a tight fit. That way if I have to get in through the bottom to release the lock all I have to do is punch out the cardboard.

i locked my key in with the overflow bucket and had to pop a handle off the side and fish it out with a clothes hanger.

How many times has anyone locked their key inside the machine? Guess if one did so, you could always drill a new hole to get a coat hanger type hook or whatever in there to fish the key out. In the meantime this shouldn't be too big an issue -- just don't lock your key inside. haha!

I saw your post right after i made mine and started to laugh, its not easy having to fish a key out luckily milt attaches his keys to a coil cord!

Hasn't happened to me yet. But I did hear of someone putting both keys on a cord attached to the back of the cabinet. They were doing a reset and the door closed on the cord and locked. Both keys were inside. Moral of this story, don't put both keys on the same key fob. Just leave the reset key in the lock and hang the door key on a retractable cord.
