    Default Data counter for pachislo

I am very familiar with hooking up pachinko battle /data counters I know there are special ones for pachislo machines is there a way you can tell it the unit I have supports one? I have a Takasago seven target Not sure the year. It does have a credit /payout button as well as a collect button. When you press the collect button it ejects the tokens that show remaining credits on the seven seg display. There is no LCD video screen. The Credit and payout button seems to do nothing. Could or was this hooked up to a stored value system? Could it work with a slot type data/battle counter?

From what I have seen. Older slos have a 6 pin connector for a data counter whilst newer ones have an 8 pin connector. Normally located on a small circuit board with relays on it. The socket is standardised for all pachi and counter manufacturers. And the 6 pin plug will also fit in the 8 pin socket.

I think i found the connector. Its an 8 pin. The data counter does need to be one specific to slots though correct? So if i had an extra pachinko counter it would work?

depends on the age and make of the counter. All my machines I have use the asahi One Miina Graph counters. They all look the same but they are different models for the slo and pachi. As one lists start pockets and Ootari, The over lists Big bOnus and Regular Bonus
