    Default WTB: Sankyo Lumina Frame

Hi All, I am looking for a Sankyo Lumina frame. I have a few frames in use but I'd really like to play and display my Star Wars without going through swapping cells each time. I am open to color options. Anyone with an extra frame out there? Please reply or send me a PM.
    Thanks, Pete

Thanks for the find DC I appreciate the help
While the purchase price looks tempting I think I will hold out for a unmodified unit.

    Good Idea.

So I suggest buying a complete machine and shipping that. Then remove the cel and add to your collection

    I recommend this one

I really like that one too! I don’t think I can keep any cells out of frames unless they are duplicates. Lol

I did try for one a few weeks ago of another name I don’t remember but the bidding got crazy in the final hours and I bowed out. With that starting price I need help in financing from the lottery commissioner. Hmmm... maybe tonight?

I see this one for 1/5th the cost. Just not sure about the sellers lack of info and pictures along with negative responses. I could see if it gets reposted and then ask questions being timing is short now with less that one business day available? Any thoughts or tips?

Oh yes the Elvis machine that will never sell. I'd like to find one in Japan and buy it cheap just to say I could

Well I did find a frame which happened to have a good Eva 2 cell in it from a bookseller in Japan for 1000 JPY + xxx to ship it. I got it this this week and the only work needed other than a cleaning was to replace the transformer, one missing volume pot, and the lock cylinder is missing. I've been playing it for several hours and it seems alright so far. The reel spinning music could change up a bit more as one tune is getting old. I had many reaches but no fever rounds yet. The light show on the frame is very nicely set to the music.

I've been watching a lot of the Neon Genesis Evangelion series videos online to gain a better sense of the story line and I am getting hooked on it We'll see after a lot more play time and some fever rounds as to if I keep this cell or sell it off. For now I like it enough to keep so if anyone sees a Lumina frame for sale, there could be a finders fee to be gained

One scary thought was that I could collect all the Eva machines someday

The Train by Go!2 and Felix machines are still out there but no changes in price.

You know I didn't even see the Bisty name on the front until today. Part of the learning curve in what to look for I guess.

I put my Star Wars cell in this frame today for a test drive. When the video wasn't coming on (after the typical 10 minute warm up) I saw the Bisty nameplate and thought 'oh no, what did I buy' as I thought of your comment above at the same time. As things turned out I had to let it warm up a bit longer or I waited to long in power cycling it the first time. All works well with the R2D2 Star Wars cell in a Bisty frame. I played for about three hours to see if there were any issues and it had been some time since I had it set up. To my surprise I got a fever round after the first hour. Over the next two hours I got a total of eight fever rounds and even won once in shooting down Vader! That was an exciting couple of hours but tiring with all the ball shuffling.

I do like this in the red frame better than in the white one that Julie the Pinball is currently occupying. My Star Wars cell is the version with the red background. As with so many things it comes down to a personal preference about color combinations. So what to do with the Eva 2 cell? Not sure yet but I am still open to finding another frame

I've been watching that one for a while now but holding out with hope for a better total cost from someone stateside.

There are quite a few colours on YJA at the moment/ I'm tempted by the yellow one, If the price keeps dropping that is.
