Taiyo Electron Gold Line
A friend mentioned this arrangeball machine for sale in Idaho and the seller agreed to hold it for me after receiving a deposit. We arranged to pick it up while on vacation in Montana the following month. It was covered in the usual layers of dust, grime, some form of magic lubricating spray (WD-40?), and nicotine. This machine also contained the most dead bugs I have ever found in any pachi! It's almost identical to user JACKJE4's Gold Line, but with some different colored front plastics

I got a replacement 7 segment led display for the scoring from eBay UK as the original was malfunctioning. The incandescent lamps in the centre number matrix were swapped out for warm-white, straw hat led units we soldered up.
I replaced the background as the broken metal spinners had worn a hole through the original and another hole was worn through near the bumper. I made up a decal for the missing placard and had it printed with the new background.

After cleaning, repairs and restoration, the machine now plays, scores and pays correctly. The sound effects are also functioning.
It's been a lot of fun to restore this one and we're having fun playing it as well!
