Theres an early small bidding war going on for TAs robo cop which ends in a few.
The last black one went for $291 The orange went for $187
Ive sorta come to the conclusion that I dont really like the non animated vids like RoboCop or LOTR. I think the animated like Popeye, PP etc are much cooler.
Whadya think???

I would not zero in on animation as it contributes nothing to the play of the game and rarely activates anyway.

Look more toward the variety of chance and reach videos. The better games have many different ways to spin the reels or play for the fever rounds. Games that only have one reach so that you always see the same three reels spin time after time with no teases or variation become boring very quickly.

Games with a lot of cute figures, houses, toys, etc., all take up pin placement and decrease the ways to get balls into the start gates. Many new games only allow ball play on the left side of the play field.

Factor all these things in before you choose a game or rule one out.

Dennis, I agree wit cha. Ive noticed the lack of play board.
I guess Im looking at the difference in the vids definitions. From what Ive seen (only in pictures), it looks like Robo & LOTR (the only ones Ive really seen) are dark & hard to see, whereas the animations seem more clear & vibrant with their primary colors.
But yes, the same ol gets to be the same ol pretty darn quick...

I'd go so far as saying I prefer non-video designs.
I'm looking forward to when TA will have Docooon* in the fall.

I sold my Batman, but I liked the use of lights and reels. You never expected a video sequence or anything. It was nice. Spin Luck for example is the same way. Just a use of Mechanics versus Fancy LCD video. The videos are neat the first few times you see them, but then they become predictable on Pachislo's.

Now I have not had an LCD Pachinko yet, so I am not sure what to think.

I am waiting on Arbycoffee to send me a Starwars for $20....
