there are 2 balls locked in the see saw.. balance and counter balance.. they should role freely back and forth...

i think i see a problem.. your second pic seems to have a missing broken part.. can you try something..

grab a huge handful of balls and drop them in the top back tray.. if they stop in the jackpot (your second pic from post 18) please post a new picture of that.. if the balls drain out the back please pay atention to where and how they drain and report back.. ( i think i know the answer already but want a test to make sure.. pictures are so undimensional there sometimes hard to see all the parts)

I have not physically touched them since talking off the plastic but by way of pushing the metal rod up to reset the see saw it does move freely. The payout ramp the same at a guess? how do I triple check the payout ramp?

Will do. From memory all balls file into the jackpot and stop. I don't recal them draining anywhere but will follow up tonight with the photo and post.

Thanks for the help so far guys, appreciate it!

When a ball enters the seesaw, the seesaw will tip down releasing the hook for the payout ramp. With the seesaw down you can check the ramp for free movement.

There is definitely some thing going on with how it all resets for the jackpot?! I did a little video that my help further but you can see at one stage it looks like the jackpot mechanism tries to release balls but they dont drop. That looks to cause issues all the way along.

let me know guys! Really want to get this right.

Looks like the interconnect from the spoon across to the jackpot control rods are binding up. A good clean of the pivot points and the jackpot mech should free everything up.

Am I to presume these point you speak of are behind the plastic casing?! And what can I use to clean...just a dry rag? can I use isopropyl? Solvent?

Yes , You have to take apart your Whole Back of the machine to Totally clean it and make sure that Everything is working 100% . And then there is the front of the machine and all it's workings

A metal polish on the pivot points so everything moves freely. Most pivot points will be brass so clean and dry. A general purpose cleaner on the plastics. I would not recommend solvents and such. To harsh and may cause the plastics to become brittle.

the ball rides down the jackpot arm.. that arm pushes a rod up the back right side of the machine.. then that rod levers the jackpot open.. there are upper and lower pivot points in the jackpot arm.. then need polishing.. q tips and windex work well.. then some steel wool on the metal parts to make them slick and smooth.. the jackpot is plastic windex on qtips and allot of scrubin for that..

the only lubrication i ever use on a machine is elbow grease

So this has quicky turned into a restore/clean three now...lol. I'll post a few photos in here as opposed to starting a new thread but have an initial question first regarding the strip down.

ive come to a part where I'm trying to remove the plastic housing to expose the who see saw jackpot dump area. You can see the clear plastic that sits as part of all this!

My my question is, is the clear seacrion part of the brown plastic? Are they fabricated together or will the brown plastic pull away easy enough? Where the jackpot bell is located it seems that it's holding tight compared to over where the see saw is where it pulls off pretty easy?

While I wait I'll go clean shall I

Stuck tight together!! Might have to check if anything is keeping the brown piece from releasing?

I believe the clear and brown part are removed as an assembly, then you can access screws to separate them. Not certain...been a long time since I took a Model B apart.

Certainly feel like they are an assembly! Thanks for the response.
