Hello. I am Kaneko, I am from Japan.
I lived in Europe for many years and I have been a pachinko-enthusiast since mid 90-s. My favourite machines are older wing-type machines, which you can still find in some parlours nowadays. Heiwa is the favourite brand, because they still produce some of those older type of machines. Newer machines I am not really into.
The best feeling for me regarding pachinko is to take a local train out to nowhere (countryside) and sit down in a really old parlour. Nowadays the customers have changed a lot though. When I grew up there were a lot of salarymen and similar who played after work. Nowadays it is packed with 60+ people and it certainly doesn't have the same "vibe" as before.
With that said, I am still playing occasionally and as a hobby, it is always nice to be able to play with some machines at home, or in more calm down places such as medal-game centers where you cannot win any real money but still be able to play just for fun, without worrying about smoke and too loud sounds...
Anyway, hope I can contribute in someway to this forum!
