    Default Question about battle counter hook ups

    I see there is 2 start connections and 4 bonus the definate change well I definatly cant tell on my star wars 3d battle for vador

    I also notice a 1 marked as a polarity I assume.

    I traced out the connections on my asahi juji deka q counter.

    I notice that the red ,blue , brown wire seem to all be connected or com. So what wire do I connect to the one marked with a 1?

    I know

    Red white = bonus
    Blue/ yellow = start
    Brown / brown stripe or whatever color that is = kakuhen definate change

    Does the common go to the connection marked 1 for bonus ? (Red wire )

    another post I saw it states com is + 32v

    Im used to com= gnd = negative not positive.

    Thanks ti tgis forum I was avle to get this far and no I cant read kanji

    This link will show you the proper hookups.
    http://www.daiichi.net/pdf/sankyo/92.pdf

    Looks like CN3 is Start, CN5 is Bonus, and CN6 is Change
    Shouldn't make any difference which wire in the particular pair goes in what spring clip color pair

    Thanks it works one question is what is considered start pocket I would think it would be the center hole it counts but seems to count when it goes in the rear right tube I think. Not sure if its normal

    It did go nuts when it fevered :-)

    The center hole will trigger the counter, but only after the reels, or images have spun, not every time the ball drops in the hole, you should get the minimum number of ball though, usually 3.

    When you get the limit of banked balls, you need to press the pause button((a little piece of plastic that depresses slightly on the shooting knob that holds the shooter in a fixed location), and let the spinning catch up with the banked balls. Release the button to resume shooting.

    Also pressing the pause button when going into a reach (2 symbols matching) will save you balls also.

    What the battle counter is doing is correct with regard to the start counter.

    And the sankyo tornado cr the card (I was told thats what it was)

    Is it correct that this is voltage outputs not contact and would the connections be

    J2cn2= start
    J2cn3= bonus
    J2cn4 = change ?

    If thats right I think im catching on. Just need someone to double check me. This one seems to not be optoisolated. Would you guys create a simple optoisolated circuit to put in between ?

    And if it is voltage output that means I need to use the voltage input harness connections like this

    I know lots of questions but as always thanks for looking I jave one more that is older that will be interesting to figure out it has 2 sets of outputs ????

    You're correct for the toyomaru cr rose tail.

    samslack......What hook-up did you come up with for your 3D Battle for Vador? I now have the same machine and trying to figure out the battle counter hook-up. Thank you in advance for your help.

    For my Asahi Juji deka cross counters using contact inputs

    Red and red/white (Bonus) goes to the 2 black contacts

    Blue and Blue / white (start aka count one pocketed ball) goes to the grey

    Brown and brown /white (K AKA high prop mode) goes to the pink ones

    Note your counters wiring may represent different colors

    I want to hook up my door alarm to my end lamp (I have the same machine.). I see you hooked it to the green section, but the other end of the wires go to what? I am not finding where to hook them up to. Thank you in advance for your help.

    on my counter there was a connector on the board itself marked "door open contact input"

    it was NOT part of the original harness. I had to get the correct connector from digikey and make my own harness to hook it up.

    what counter do you have ?

    I forgot to say that the end light is a Daiichi also. There is no model number on it.
