The thin black piece looks to be a sensor that lays over the two little pegs and might be locked down by the swing lever.

Yeah, I feel like it is a lack of power getting somewhere. I just wish there was a self test or led indicator light to help see where power is going or not going.

Toby I have the same machine. I am still working on figuring it out. However, let me give you a little help. The tiny little tab in the hole will allow you to remove the stuck balls in the back. Once all the balls are all cleared replace the sensor properly. This will allow the balls to auto eject and pay out 6 balls.

Once the ball falls in the start or go pockets. The numbers will spin on the screen. All three numbers will need to match once they do the game will go into the frenzy mode, The game will begin to payout 13 balls each one in the pocket. The game will go through 16 rounds before the game resets to standard mode. A couple more pieces of information that I can tell you. the most you will get on the green lights at the bottom of the LCD screen is 4. Anymore than that will just pay out balls. the last thing I can also say is when you turn the shooter you will see a tiny white button. It is a pause button for firing.

Also there is a board on the backside in the upper right hand cornor that I am still trying to figure out. I know It needs to have a jumper in the row on the far right column and second row down. Other than that I have no clue, Anymore help will be nice.

OK, bumping this again. I just got this machine back to try to get her working. I replaced the power supply but that did not do much. LOL. Is there schematics for these machines somewhere?? i have been trying to trace power but not even sure what everything goes to. The screen gets no image or even a flicker, no real sounds, a limited number of lights. balls fire off, thats about it. Let me know if anyone has words of wisdom for me.

Not there’s no schematics available, they aren’t really made to be easily serviceable for electronic issues unfortunately.

I’d unplug and replug all the connectors and check for any obviously failed components on the boards or damage.

Those old CRT screen fail quite frequently. It’s best to get a screen free machine (hanemono, kenrimono, or arrepachi from this era)
