Talking I might be a bit addicted.. haha

So, about 3 hours ago I got my machine working properly (1977 Model B Nishijin Shiroi Kamome) and all tulips cleaned and paying out. My goal was to pass a thousand balls thru, pour in the top, push the latch, just let them pour out and try to loosen up any dirt I missed. Well, I did that and reloaded and have been playing since then. I'm getting halfway decent at a skill shot to the far left tulip on my machine with a really weak pull... I can't imagine the folks downstairs are fans of the jackpot

This group got me to where I am now.. and I've still got a ways to go before it's 'done' enough in my eyes but holy cow, it's fully functional and looks like it came from a gently used warehouse and not a farmhouse full of rodents for the past 20 years lol. Will get better pictures soon, got a better camera thanks to one of the members here who linked me up.. can't recall his name off the top of my head and my laptop is about to die but he's awesome.

Now, I should actually get back to working on my machine vs playing on it.. check on me in 3 more hours

oh oh, we have another addict So do you have a play and display spot picked out for your machine?
Think about clearing several feet to the right and left. Like Gmwd points out, they will most likely multiply!!

How about an intervention of a different sort. We gather up some extra machines and create a population explosion in a Texan home! I have some extra balls, who’s bringing the popcorn?

Liquid_sky, are you ready for visitors???

I'll make all the Tex Mex you can eat, so far the only spot (looking at moving to a better place soon) I've got is in the dining room against a wall.. aaaaand I may have gotten my eyes on a Daiichi New Vanguard in the DFW area but they want a little too much for it. Love the design of those.. tho I imagine getting plexi cut at an angle would be a pain in the butt!

I use a piece of window pane (typically found on the side of the road ) and a glass cutter. My daichi almost never have the glass in them. The angle isn't to bad of a deal, I measure the angle, cut the glass and see if I'm close enough

Soon you'll find yourself scouring CL, akimono, and ebay daily to see what's on the market, that's when the "fever" really sets in! There's also pachinko pushers and enablers lurking around this site....looking at you Compirate and luckymoey!

I started with one $60 hanemono nearly 2 years ago; which somehow multiplied into 8 modern, 2 vintage machines and 8 lumina cells, it's a slippery slope.. .

years ago I was up to 40 modern machines in a 720 sq ft mobile home

I've whittled that down to 6 pachinkos and 8 pachislos
