    Unhappy Issues with monitor

    20160908_135327.jpg

    Hello all,

I have an Android pachislo machine and I haven't used it in awhile. I turned it on today and the screen, at first, was showing the usual animations but it began scrolling and wasn't showing a still image. I tried to reconnect all of the wires inside of the machine but that seems to have only made the matters worse and now I have the above screen. I did notice the monitor felt a little loose but I couldn't find anything disconnected. I was hoping someone who is more intelligent than I am would be able to help.

    Thanks in advance!

Well does it still light up at all and just shows lines. By chance is there a ribbon cable the you reseated. If so it looks like a good place to look. I have seen the contacts oxidize enough to cause similar issues.

Hey sorry for the delayed response, it still lights up it just shows the lines. Before it got to that point the screen showed the normal animations but the video was scrolling up and down. I touched a ribbon and then that happened but I tried to plug them all back in and out and nothing has fixed it since.

Revers your steps any thing you unhooked and re seated check again thise ribbon cabbles is usually what feeds the video signal. Can you take some pictures also what kind of power supply does this have 120 v to 24 60 hz 5 A ? Does that get warm just from being on a short time

looks like you unseated the video ribbon, if it's what i think you have the ribbon is "loose" ie; no formal connector end just slips into the board and has a plastic clip that seats down on it?
try reseating the ribbon it should do it? Otherwise if that's not it then the LCD is bad, but fear not the screen can be replaced. And cheap too!
Check for a model # stick on the back then enter it into google or ebay it shouldn't be more than $50 be sure to save/reuse all the connectors b/c LCD sellers don't send any of that stuff just an LCD.

    Good Luck!
