Nishijin Model B Am I Missing the Ball Loader?
New to the site, just got my first machine at a yard sale and have been working on fixing it. Replaced the spring for the shooter, but now I am having another problem.
When I load balls into the overflow tray, they fall directly to the ground. I am guessing I am missing the ball loader assembly, as there is noting to push the ball up from the hole in the tray.
Nishijin 1973 ish Model B - it says Super Deluxe.
Any ideas?

It sounds like something is missing or out of place. If you are able, please post some pictures of the front and back for all to see. This can help others to see what is going wrong.

Welcome. A full back pic will help, perhaps your ball dump is not set.

Here is a photo of the back of the machine. When I load the balls in the front, they should roll out the back. Attachment 84968

take a look at this post and the vid attached.. see if that helps ya...
the one thing that may cause you problems is your missing the paperclip.. it slowes the jackpot cycle.. not having it will cause ya problems with your machine..

I believe that I am missing a part that launches the ball into the playing field, since when I put a ball in the front of the machine, it does not land on the track.

Looks like your indeed missing half the inner door mechanics. I am sure we have members that would have the part you need from parts machines. I have the part as well but probably cost more from Canada in shipping. Let me know if you can't find one closer.

First offto Pachitalk.
Can you do me a favor and post a picture of the front and back of the part I circled below. I believe there is a peg missing off the front that hits the loader arm (typical issue as they weren't very strong). I may have one floating around. Though it might be a while before I could get it to you.

max take a look at the pic he posted.. the ball discriminator is missing... the part that sorts balls one at a time and slows game play to X shots per minute
good eye on the broken stud as well

Ok so it looks like it isn't the part that I thought was the culprit. That arm looks perfectly fine. Which is good cause I don't know which machine I could take one of those off of.I got another whole loader assembly though just laying around loose, exactly same. But not entirely sure that is the problem either.
Can you post some more pictures of the loader assembly that you removed in those previous pictures.
