    Default Sparkman pachinko machine

Gday members ,,,,scored myself a sparkman pachinko machine,,very hard to get here in Australia but manage to get my hands on one.My problem is it does not light up when turned on,,I know power is getting to the machine because the ball flicker works and a light come on when flicking it and I know all the other light work around the little man because I just played around with the little fuse at the back and all the lights came on around sparkman and he was open and closing his arms,,my other problem is when I get a ball in a wining hole it does not trip the little motor that triggers a payout...can somebody please help me.

Hello Mr tooheys77 and welcome to the group

Did you get a good amount of balls with the machine? (500/1000)
Your hopper in back should have a few hundred in it so the payout system knows to proceed.

A picture of the front and back would be best for all to see.
Some machines have multiple switches. Most are loud even on the lowest setting.

i cant help with the lights.. as posted sounds like a bad connection or a broken dodgy fuse...

i can you you have a bit if a ball jam.. when you looking at the back of the machine you should have balls in the top hopper.. they will flow down and to the right to the payout mech on the upper center right side... the other balls that are viable on your machine are jammed.. there balls that are winning balls waiting there tune to be processed so the machine can pay a jackpot... there are so many now the weight is jamming them and jackpots are not paying out.. you will need to get the jackpot to cycle and clear all those out before the machine will work correctly.. IE the balls pictured in the last pic of your post #7..

ps i have a parts machine for this.. not allot left but there are some good things

With this age of machine I wouldn't expect many or any lights to come on unless its in play or has a fault.

Once you cleared out the jammed balls. And the power is on. What happens if you drop a ball in the 1 or 2 pocket?

Do you have a volt meter to check your power is making it to yhe main board.

Hey there! New to this and just got a Sparkman machine. Can't get the lights and sound to work and even though the upper hopper is full, the weight of the balls isn't enough to trigger the payout mechanism, so I have to do it manually. Any help would be appreciated.
