Default (Pioneer) Million City 1994 Power Supply

I recently acquired this machine and would like to make an attempt to bring it back to life. The first thing that I noticed is that the power supply is missing. I have done some googling but I have not been able to find any schematics or references. The power supply has 4 connections

    14 PIN Molex
    8 PIN Molex
    6 Pin Molex (Hopper)
3 Pin power input from transformer

I have numerous PLC and PC power supplies that I could use for testing but I have not a clue of the pin outs for the Molex Plugs. Is anyone familiar with this power supply or by chance have a pin out archived? I have looked on eBay and Google and have not found a supply to match the plugs yet.

    Thank You in advance.

    Welcome Aboard

A Pc PSU will be no good. Inside the box will be the circuitry for the hopper as well.

I will have to keep looking for a supply that will run this machine. Wish me luck. If I do I will make sure to try and get a pin out and schematic of the complete box for future reference as these parts will not get easier to come by as time goes on.

Still searching any ideas where else I can look for a supply box?

YJA is where I got mine from. But it will be machine specific.

If they are all machine specific I may have to borrow someone's to reverse engineer. Finding one will be rather difficult.

No luck on YJA. The hunt continues. Anyone know someone with this machine?

The 8 Pin Moles is strictly for the fluorescent tubes.

Since I took a break from searching. I thought I would do a little reverse engineering. I made a little progress and also noticed a component that needs to be replaced on the main board.

It seems to be that pins 2 4 5 and 11 are inputs from the power box and pin 13 is a driven output. I am going to have to look for a manual and see if i can identify what the inputs do.

I really need to find a data sheet for the CPU to find out what pins 6 and 7 do.

TI made some mistakes on my image I will fix and upload tomorrow it is late.

I have fixed some errors and ordered the replacement Darlington Array. Once I get this IC soldered in. I will continue to trace and inspect the other boards. Hopefully I will find the voltages that I need to supply. I still need to find out what the unknown lines to the CPU do but that should not keep me from getting power to the machine. More to come as I have time to tinker.

I finally found a working supply. Schematics to come soon. Hope this will help someone. I plan to build ONLY 3 of these when I get it all figured out.

hi, I have a pioneer Million City Machine as well. It has a damaged Max Bet Button. Any Chance you have come across that part. It's about as easy to find as that power supply you were looking for

    Thanks

Those buttons should be rebuild able. I still never did complete the schematics these things get complicated with the traces being hard to follow.

If you know how to take I apart, i'd be thrilled. I got it out of the machine but it seems lie a one piece item. I dont see how it comes apart. The button on top is stuck down. the board on bottom and all else is good.

    Thanks
    Paul
