when i was a kid and about 10 years old i started working for a Polish butcher in chicago. He had the original Lttle Oscar come to the store one day with the weiner mobile. i didn't get a ride in it, but met Little Oscar.

Years later as an adult I met him again with the weiner mobile at the Wisconsin State Fair.

he has passed away to that Weiner land in the sky since them!!!!!

My co-worker told me the same story last week. He used to work for a Polish shop in Chicago and got to meet the little guy. Guess he used to like his drink. One day he had a few too many and hit somebody and it cost Oscar Mayer a little money.

I worked part time for the Polish butcher from 4th grade until i got drafted at 23 years of age. 13 years!!!!

started at 2.00 a week plus tips. after 13 years 2.00 an hour plus tips.

I was inside the Weinermobile a few years ago. It was in Florida. They were staying at the same motel and were just a couple of parking spots away. They were checking out at that same time we were and offered us a tour of the inside.
