Default Daiichi - does this come apart for cleaning?

    Hi,

I am unsure how to clean this piece. On other machines it is screwed together. This looks like some kind of pins. I am unsure if it can come apart or not. I am hoping somebody who has worked on a Daiichi knows how to do it.

    Thanks for for any help,
    Mike

Those are a real bugger. I just cleaned it with q-tip and toothbrush together on mine. Those spiral pins are probably never meant to be removed.

If anyone knows a trick for those, I would love to know as well.

Thanks. I could not figure a way. I tried using my dremmel to cut a slot on one to see if I could unscrew it but was not successful. I was able to remove the armor cleaning and used a baby bottle brush to clean inside and think I did as good a job as I can without being able to open. It looks pretty good, much better than I was expecting. Once dry I will try to put the arm back in, hopefully I will be successful.

With the screws removed; that can be removed, I have been able to pry the plastic apart enough to remove the jackpot lever and axle and to remove the bottom pieces.

Then the bottle brush! That's about all the better I got it cleaned.

Thanks yes that is what I wound up doing. I was able to get it back in and so it all worked out. I'm almost done with the machine. I need to get some new spinners. For some reason the holes in the front of the spinners are bent open more than they should be and the spinners wobble. They are in good shape so not sure what happened to them. Then I need to re do the wiring. I think the sockets are bad. Looking forward to finishing it.
