Nishijin Model B keys
I have two Nishijin Model B machines. One Is the Monkey and the Crab theme and the other is the Montreal Olympics theme. I was able to impression keys for these machines. I first used Ilco 1866-10 key blanks. The key blade was too short, so I had to cut back the head of the key to make it work. I found that Ilco SY1 key blanks were the right length but the blade was too wide to fit into the lock cylinder. Cutting the SY1 blade down to the 1866-10 width made it perfect. I tempered the blanks with a propane torch to make job easier. The numbers on the lock cylinders were 202 and 204. You can find information on how to impression keys on the internet.
