    Default Wiring Nishijin Sophia questions

    Hello,

i have only done power on one machine and it was several years ago. I have a Nishijin Sophia and the wiring harness and switches seem to be intact. Was going to run in a 9 volt battery. I had 3 quick questions.

    1) What type of bulbs do I need?

    2) what kind of fuse do I need?

    3) which post is positive and which is negative? it has a white and an orange knob on the the posts and I am unsure which is which. White is on left and orange on right in case somebody swapped them.

    thank you in advance!

    1) E10 base Bulbs, 10Volt if you can find them. I have used 12 Volt but also use a 9Volt wall adapter (a bit dimmer flash)

    2) 2 amp fuse, you don't need much protection with a 9 Volt battery, but safer in case someone changes the battery to power plug later.

    3) polarity does not matter, the circuit was designed for AC, will work fine either way. I typically wire the positive through the terminal that goes through the fuse.

Great thank you. Another quick question. Can I snip the end off of this and use in place of the 9 volt battery? I am assuming yes but wanted to ask as I really don't know much about wiring and power. Thanks!
