Default Model b Sophia rod for full hopper missing, is it necessary?

    Hello,

i am am working on a restore of a nishijin Sophia that is missing the rod that stops the machine if too many balls are in the hopper. Is that piece necessary? Or ok to continue without it?

    Thank you,
    Mike

Would it be this overflow prize wire?Nishijin B - Back edit.jpg Please enlarge the picture to see the edit note.

If so, I don't see why you can not continue without it. Unless your reloading the top hopper with thousands of balls, should be no issue till the balls back all the way up to the prize release lever.

Sorry, large picture, try this one.Nishijin B - Back edit 1.jpg

yes that is it. Ok I won't worry then. It is a gift for my sister and was not sure it will be a problem. I just will tell her to wash the load in the front. Thank you!
