    Default Cabinet build

Hey guys, just want to share my recently finished cabinet for my Yamato Resurrection pachinko. I used the plans from Ken (thanks!) http://www.dc8.org/pachinkocab/ and am happy with how it turned out.

I did a coupe of extra things to finish it off like using t-molding for the edges and applying custom side and front art from the 2009 Yamato Resurrection movie. I'm a fan or the theme/source material which is why I kind of went all out with it.

    Here are some pics...

I like the Artwork... did you have a print shop do the work.. or do it yourself?

I also like Ken's plans.. I had to Add a funnel to catch lost balls and channel them to the lower tray.. other then that it works great.

Thanks. I did the files for the artwork myself in Photoshop and then had them printed.

I had to add a wire-loom tube to the catch the balls from the winning trough and redirect them to the lower trough. The lower part of the cabinet could've been extended to accommodate, based on the machine that's going in there. I didn't verify that distance with my specific machine, unfortunately, just followed the plans. I did check the overall height and width though.

Thank guys. T-molding is great for giving plywood edges a more finished look. It might not have been necessary if I used solid wood (pine or oak) for the cabinet.
Another option is to use iron-on cabinet edging. No router with slot bit needed to install that stuff.

I'm not addicted to Pachinkos. I can quit at any time. Did I tell you about the three machines that I have on the way?
