Nice to know someone else is interested in the accessary things for pachislo/pachinko. I don't think I have enough tokens to warrant one of those yet but I'd love to find a token counter like my ball counter. And when are the between machine ball loan units going to start showing up?

I just got my coin/token counter today. It's an old Downey-Johnson 30 PM that I found on eBay. Here is a link to the one I won.
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWN%3AIT&rd=1

Click on the upper corner on the "Coin & Change Counter" link to save you time hunting for them.

Some folks here have bought some really nice, expensive ones. I got what I could afford.

Checked this old-timer out with tokens and it works perfectly. We took a known number of tokens, 316, ran them through several times and it never missed a single one.

They're not cheap, but I guess that ball counter wasn't either. But the ball counter looks a ton better, naturally. Arby does sell great looking toys!

It does look constructed like an ultrasonic (vibration) bath, that would make sense too but not sure what all the additional ramps and chutes are, never seen those before

My friend's son worked at an arcade that used tokens, and I asked about cleaning them. He told me that they use a mixture of 50% CLR(Calcium Lime Rust remover)and 50% water in a bucket. Soak and stir the tokens for about a minute and then rinse them thoroughly. I tried this with several old brass? tokens and it made them look brand new. One problem though after reading the bottle of CLR the main ingredient is hydrochloric acid. You would need to RINSE them very well. The boy said the arcade has always cleaned them like this and never has had a problem. Food for thought.........

Kingsme26 LMAO - I guess I'm tired. By the way...your comment about the food and beer earlier was pretty funny...just couldn't admit it then.

Wink Re: Parlor Token Cleaning System

I use CLR in a 4 parts HOT water to 1 part CLR mixture. bathe and shake them in that mixture for about 12 minutes. Rinse thoroughly in clean hot water. Drain. Put them in a towel, wrap the towel up around them and shake the heck outta them.

You'll like the results. Your balls (and tokens) are like new.

Just avoid straight CLR and no rinsing. Boy are those sticky!
