Restored: 1970 Nishijin Front overflow

Made only in 1970, these Nishijin front overflows came in 2 varieties. The only read difference is the front loader tray, with slightly different badges / decals, and a few other small variations. Both of the ones I have restored were this particular version.

I don't recall seeing that roses background on a machine before. Or maybe it's just because this one is so pristine that it stands out more than any I may have seen in the past. As always, nice work.

I'm interested in the bottom wood on the back.

Is that paint or do you have a system for repairing de-lamination of the plywood?

Just paint with some polyurethane.
