    Default Jungle Queen!!

I remember playing this machine in high school. My brother-in-law and I were shooting pool at a local bar and I noticed one setting in the corner. The bar owner is a friend I've known for 20 something years. I asked if he was interested in selling it and what would he ask. Well $300 later I now own a pinball machine to go along with the 4 pachinkos. My wife doesn't know I bought the pinball machine yet. She is going to our daughter's in Missouri at the end of the month so I'll sneak it in the gameroom then! jungle queen aug 2015 001.JPGjungle_queen_pinball_1.jpg

This isn't the actual machine, but identical. Phot courtesy of Google!

Any clues as to why this is happening? It'll pop the ball out after a bit and only does this occasionally. https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=H0lWrY1_9a8

My first guess is to check the ball eject mechanism for dirt, wear, or loose parts. It looks like it's not traveling as far as it's supposed to.

Found the problem! A rubber cap from one of the bumer covers was in the ball receptacle. Removed it and all is good. Game plays great! There are two lights out. It was NASTY! 40 years of nicotine and spills but dawn dishwasing liquid and some fine steel wool made a huge difference. I'll post some cleaned pics in a bit.
