I was in the Air Force for about 9 years, got out, and am now the head network admin in a medium sized international company. Not bad having climate control now, and surfing the web all day

Thanks for your kind words, I just never decided what I wanted to do when I grow up, so I did neither.
I am sorry you detest your job, have you considered getting some training and maybe a career change, it takes serious stones but is worth it. You might even get your current employer to pay for some training.
    Cheers,

I'm a retired Detroit cop who did 27 years in the trenches. After "retirement" I was hired as the district Technology Coordinator for a large Downriver Detroit public schools district. I've been doing this for the past 11 years. Someday I may really retire, but I'm having too much fun now.

    THIS PLACE ROCKS !

Actually, you just sit and look out the window as the world goes by.

Or you can look at it as a video game, without a reset button!

Nice pay for seeing the country. If you have a good company that takes care of you it doesn't matter what you do I guess.

I'm a graphic designer for a human and civil rights organization in Detroit—Focus: HOPE. Started out studying at Michigan State and was in their fisheries and wildlife program...discovered it wasn't fer me and am still trying to figure out what I want to be when I grow up. Also worked at a golf course as a greensman and at a Kmart Distribution center in the casepack department and drove a forklift.
