Default Please help identify this machine!!

Hi y'all! I am in search of a specific machine or at least the manufacturer and hoping I can learn more from some of you. I am 27 now. When I was a kid, my best friend's parents purchased a Pachinko machine that they randomly found somewhere. My friend and I spent hours and hours in front of this thing. Well, I went to their house to do some work and there it was, in all its glory. They are unwilling the sell it so I am trying to find one and I hope y'all can help! Thanks in advance! Here are the pictures of the machine.

Thanks so much!! Oh my goodness. This is the first time after years of googling that I've been able to find something about this machine!! Wayne, I can't begin to thank you enough! Now I just need to figure out how to find/buy one!

Thanks a ton, MOPAR! Glad to be here.

Any tips on if I can buy one?! Translating the japanese seems to leave me with more questions than answers!

You may get lucky and find one on eBay or craigslist, but it seems like a long shot. You might have better luck reading the sticky threads about Yahoo Japan and keep an eye out there and use a deputy service to purchase for you. You could also reach out to Akimono.com and ask them if they can try to source one for you from Japan. With an older machine that probably wasn't a blockbuster seller you may have to wait a long time to find one, if ever. The more places you look the more likely are to find one. Who knows maybe you get lucky and one pops up in your backyard tomorrow. In the meantime take a look around the site and maybe you'll decide you want to try a different machine while you pursue your search for this one.

Welcome to Pachitalk. This is a great resource to help you in your search.

^ Maybe contact them and offer double the $40 they paid for it! Looks like it may need a new transformer however.

Spyder, thanks a ton for the info! I will keep an eye out and also search around!

lotsoballs, thanks! I sent them a message offering to buy it. I sure hope they get the message and will consider it! Just the idea of maybe actually acquiring one, something that seemed futile and impossible, is blowing my mind!

Well...ran into a couple more dead end leads. Found one that had already sold on some random Japanese auction site.

Trying to hunt this thing down is gonna make me go gray lol

I have this machine - 'Love Couple' - which I bought in 2003 or so. Great fun, very sexy. I'm not selling it, but if you need any photos etc let me know.

It was my second pachinko :-)

You're very lucky, Pinball!! I am STILL searching. I've searched Ebay every single day for what seems like an eternity. I am so sad I can't find this machine!

Hoping bumping this will allow someone who's seen one to give me a heads up! Thanks, y'all!

Try using ratuken. That's where I bought a machine of mine. It did me well. And they ship internationally. If I happen to come across the machine you are looking for here in Japan, I'll let you know

I typed the site name wrong. It's rakuten and there is an English version. It's basically Japanese amazon. I'll keep my eye out for your machine.

Think of it as a first love that got away, there are lots of machines here in the U.S. just find a new love, look on craiglist in your area or Akimono.com, Frank will help you out, just be prepared to know one machine becomes three machines pretty fast
