Default Recently got my first Pachinko Machine

    DSC_0107.jpgDSC_0106.jpg

I recently acquired a Sankyo High Grade 7&15 Fever model 2000 machine. It was in OK condition, but I was able to break it down and clean it up. Now it is back online and I have about 500 balls in it. When I play it there are a few things that happen.

    A) It shows some codes that I cannot figure out (E0, E8)
    B) There are some features that I'm not sure are working, but since I don't know how it it supposed to work, it makes it difficult.
    C) The machine will get in a mode where is will just beep over and over without stopping (I have let it go for several minutes)

Is there any one that can tell me how this machine is supposed to play, and/or knows where I can find a manual. Since I don't really know what it's called, and most of the sticker on the machine are in Japanese, it is very difficult for my to find out. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

you need more balls for it to play properly, a 1,000 more would really help.

check for a reset button on the back, its usually by the on/off switch.

turn the machine off then keep holding the button in while turning it back on.

the best way to learn is by playing

I actually have another 1500 on order, but thanks for the advice. I have not see an on/off switch yet, only a 3 position switch for the volume control. Lastly, there are a few things that don't change (numbers on the side), and i have been through the exercise of opening the glass and manually putting balls in to make sure everything works. The guy I got it off of said there were a few things that he though may not work, but couldn't remember what they were. that's why I was hoping that someone knew how the game states work. Thanks again for the reply.

Thanks Angie. Very helpful. I read through the 2 guides and I can find the parallels to my machine. However, I still cannot find a power switch or reset button that may fix my error problem. I have traced the power as far as I can, but don't see any buttons or switches that the and operator is supposed to have access too. Can someone post a pic of what I might be looking for? That may help me better identify it. Thanks for the warm welcome all. I am coming from pinball, so it's nice to see that these older games are still kicking.

    Does your machine shoot balls?

Does it payout if you put a pachinko ball in the start gate? (your pictures 9 or 12)

    Do the reels spin?

On the back of the machine, there are a few stray balls in picture 33, are there any rattling around inside the machine?

In pictures 38 and 45, is there a micro switch there that might be pushed up by something? It would be an overflow switch that would shut things down.

Carl, thanks for the comprehensive response.

    1) Yes it shoots balls
    2) That does no payout, but starts the reel. Also i see no payout on the 2 side pockets or pocket above reel (see pics dsc. . . 41, 43 and 39 respectively)
    3) Yes they spin and makes noise etc when match is made. "banking" works as well
    4) These pictures were taken as I was breaking it down so that I could be sure to put is back together correctly. All of the loose balls and debris have been removed
    5) That switch is activated by a mechanical linkage to detect when the hopper is empty (see pics dsc . . .62, 66-72)

I am unfortunately on the road today and tomorrow, so I will not be able to try new stuff with it until Wednesday. I really do appreciate all of your help. It looks like I stumbled upon the right group
