Hello! First post on PachiTalk

Greetings fellow Pachifolk!

I thought I'd take a moment to introduce myself as I am a new member to this community.

A while back I got into the pachislo world after buying my dad a machine for his birthday, later I started researching and buying my own machines (Japan is so much fun!)

Now some time later, I am finalizing the purchase of a full container from Japan to try to re-sell via tradeshows and on-line.

I'm doing this as a hobby / business (keeping day job), and thought the market still had room for someone willing to work hard and provide value to the other collectors out there.

I hope my experience with manufacturing, location based entertainment electronics, and access to very cheap storage would 'help' me get a leg up on the competition and offer items at a fair and competitive price.

I wont be spamming these forums fishing for sales, as I suspect if I do a good job, you will find me.

I just wanted to say hi, and let you know a little about myself in relation for the pachislo community.

I look forward to participating on these forums, and hope to meet some of you in the future.

We have a section for selling items if you choose to for both pachi items and non related pachi items. There are some minor rules for it, but they're posted at the top of each section.

We can never have too many people selling our favorite toys.

I for one would love to have a listing of machines available at a decent price and fair shipping without having to fool with Ebay. Any chance you have an Austin Powers in that container load.

Wow, thats a good heads up. I'm not sure how to proceed without paying a lawyer a ton of money.

Once upon a time a elderly widow made a trip to her lawyer to set her affairs in order. She did not have much money but wanted to make sure her arrangements would be the way she wanted. When it came time to pay the Lawyer she handed over $100 cash. As soon as the old lady left the Lawyer realized that there were actually 2 $100 dollar bills stuck together. He was now faced with an ethical delimma.

Does he or does he not declare the second $100 on his taxes.

After talking to my lawyer I am moving foward on a retail business.These machines have always been illegal in michigan but it's something that they don' t seem to prusue.Pachislos are sold every day in this state at gabralter trade center & local mom & pop arcade shop's.We feel that if we receive a cease & decist order, that we will decide then weather to cut our losses and run or let them take us to court.

Well, we have the 'inventory list' of our container, and all looks good. We should be finalizing the order in the next day or 3.

In 5 to 6 weeks I should have about 480 Pachislo machines to start pushing out the door.

This is very exciting!
