    Default E1 error

Help please. Every time I turn my Spider-Man machine on it is in E1 error. I know how to reset and I do every time. (Pretty annoying). Can't figure out why it does it. Thank you

its a common problem on some machines, they use a capicator to save info, some don't hold charges long!

I had the same problem with my Gamera. Every time I shut it off and came back the next day E1 code. It was explained to me just like Luckydog It was a bad capacitor. I also was told that you need to let the machines stay on for a while to charge up the capacitors, but yes it can be annoying to do a total reset every time, but the machine worked perfect and that's what counts. Wish I had something better.

fixed it!!! board is mounted on the top of the of the backside of the door, the cap I replaced with has the same ratings but larger size diameter no more e1 error and it saves the payoff settings after power off . I purchased from www.jameco.com part no 227811-2 through the ebay store I got 2 for 11 bucks
