It's been a while since I've visited this site. What's up with the prices of pachinkos on eBay??? Are the days of $10 to $50 pachinkos over? Cant believe anyone is buying at $300 - $400.
Recovering from back surgery so I've dusted of the pachinkos and getting the "Pachinko Palace" back in order.

There are a lot of people selling, but nobody buying at those prices. I'm not sure about Sandusky, but here in San Jose they are still selling for $25-75 depending on the machine. Maybe check your local craigslist ads. Welcome back to the forum. Hopefully you will have a speedy recovery from your surgery and be hitting the coasters at Cedar Point in no time.

Here's the new dive coaster that will open May setting 7 new world records.

    Valravn will be the:
Tallest dive coaster — 223 feet
Fastest dive coaster — 75 miles per hour
Longest dive coaster — 3,415 feet
Most inversions of a dive coaster — 3
Longest drop on a dive coaster — 214 feet
Highest inversion on a dive coaster — 165 feet
Valravn allows Cedar Point to claim the most roller coasters taller than 200 feet at one amusement park with five; the most rides at one amusement park with 72 rides; the most steel roller coaster track at one amusement park with 9.9 miles of track, as well as the most roller coaster track at one park at 11.4 miles.

That first drop! I grew up in Michigan and would occasionally make the trip to Sandusky to ride the coasters at Cedar Point. It's been at least 20 years since I was there. I think the Magnum was the latest and greatest the last time I was there. Last time I was at the park the sky got dark and dropped so fast everyone started running for the exits. The park shut down all the rides as tornados formed and a huge accident on the causeway left everyone stranded in the parking lot. I looked out at Lake Erie and saw 3 waterspouts at the same time. Crazy day.
