I found a volume switch in the top of the machine but it doesn't seem to lower the volume very much. Is there a way to install a volume knob or lower the volume without just disconnecting the speakers? I know Brian is going to play this a lot and it's LOUD!

i love these.. i have used them on several Pachinko and Pachislo machines.. they do require being soldered.. also the seller is a pachitalk member.. ill buy them again

others have used these they seem like they might be a bit easier but i have never used them myself

I've found a company online http://vegasslots777.com/ Are they a good source for parts, keys, etc.? If not, recommendations?

Thanks again for all the help. Looks like I found the right place to come to!
I've never felt the need to find a key for the Reset Switch. I have always replaced them with a toggle switch. Remove the keyed switch and get a toggle switch that fits into the hole. There are just two wires to connect. The only reason the switch is keyed is for security reasons, in a Parlor setting. For home use there isn't any reason for a keyed reset switch. (The switch isn't even used that much. I can't even tell you the last time I had to reset a machine or change the odds.)

The two switches below the odds button are ON/OFF switches for options after winning a Bonus Round. One of them would require the machine to be reset after winning a Bonus Round and the other would payout the credits displayed on the credit meter. Again, these are something used more in a Parlor setting, rather than use in your home.

The pictures of your machine show both switches in the OFF position. That's the position you want them in. So, after winning a Big Bonus Round you can just keep playing and don't have to stop and reset the machine or deposit 50 tokens back into it.

The company you listed won't have any parts for your machine. They only deal in American slot machines. There are not any companies that supply parts for Pachislo slot machines. Pachislo machines were designed for Parlor use only, for no longer than a 2 year period. The machines then would be considered disposable. If a machine would require a parts replacement, while in a Parlor, the machine wouldn't be repaired, but just replaced with a different machine.

Parts are only available from "dead machines". Some parts are listed on Ebay, by searching Pachislo.

Volume control is another common issue with Pachislo machines. Even at their lowest setting, it is to loud for home use. A aftermarket control will need to be added. I use these: http://www.parts-express.com/500-ohm...shaft--023-500

Your door lock is a special lock, compared to other Pachislo machines. I haven't seen one listed on Ebay for sale. Your Door lock is built into part of the door frame, which also holds the leaf switches for a Soft Reset. Finding one may be very difficult.
    Here's what you need:

You might also try, John, at Stealth Home Amusement. He has had parts I needed, in the past.

Back in the "Hay Day" of Pachislo's being imported, there were several companies importing machines from Japan. Stealth is the only older importer still in business.

It would be worth a shot to see if he has the parts you need. http://stealthhome.stores.yahoo.net/

There is a sticker in mine that says it was refurbed by Stealth. I'm guessing it's the same place. I tried calling the number and it was no longer in service. I found the link you have here and sent them an email but no answer yet.

Someone posted a very nice mod once and I cannot find it. Maybe somebody else can link it. It involved the lift rod from a bathroom faucet (the one that opens the drain including the knob on top). They drilled a hole on the top of the cabinet, installed the rod and fixed it to the mechanism inside the cabinet that if lifted would release the door.

I consider it highly unlikely you'll find the appropriate lock for the machine. I'll poke through my collection but IGT is a rather uncommon pachislo, and those that are around are coveted and not used for parts.

I've been looking for a S/N on the machine. I thought I remembered seeing one but if I did I can't find it now.

I took pictures of every number I could find. Maybe someone can tell me if one of them is the S/N.

I don't know what's wrong, but when I upload directly from my computer they're upside down! And for some reason these didn't want to upload from PhotoBucket. So here's a link to the whole album on Photobucket.

    Thanks for the info!

I've actually found some locks on eBay that look very similar to what was posted above that I needed.

I think I can take the lock cylinder that's 2 3/4" long and make my own flat piece for mounting and then make a release piece that will work.

At least if that doesn't work I've got the "Bathroom Sink"! lol

Here's the eBay link. It shows the cylinder that appears to be what I need as well as an assortment of catch releases. I'm going to contact the seller and see if they have something that might work.

I'm not sure what the belly glass is. I looked all over for numbers and took pictures of all the ones I could find. I posted a link to an album in PhotoBucket where all of the pictures are.

For some reason the pictures are upside down when I upload from my computer. They look fine on my end????

Thanks for all of the help!

BTW, I'm thinking for this to work I'll have to make a bracket to attach to the machine. The seller says they may have something to fit if you don't see it listed. So I've contacted them but haven't heard back.
